William Garland

Father of Samuel GARLAND

William is my earliest Garland at present. I only have his name through the wedding certificate of his son Samuel GARLAND, where he is described as a Beadle, and the 1841 and 1851 Census.

Bentley's directory of 1840/41 gives a William GARLAND as Guildhall Keeper, a similar occupation, in Diglis Street, Worcester.
